The mission of the Information Technology (IT) Project Management Office (PMO) is to provide a division-wide approach to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute a technology portfolio of initiatives and projects that are aligned with the university’s strategic goals and vision while encouraging collaboration, standardization, and overall improvement of the academic community. The office’s primary responsibility is to ensure project plans are implemented on schedule, within scope, and on budget. The goal of the IT PMO is to transform the culture of the IT division by maturing the project management organizational level to one of Strategic Execution Excellence.
